Director of City Infrastructure

circa £125,000

There are few places like Brighton & Hove. A city where the Sussex Downs meets the sea, where creativity, innovation and inclusion are part of everyday life, and ambitious projects have the power to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents, businesses and visitors.

From delivering major infrastructure programmes and supporting sustainable growth to protecting our unique environment and responding to the opportunities of a changing city, this is a place where your leadership will make a visible difference.

Brighton & Hove City Council is equally ambitious. We’re transforming how we work through our Learning Organisation Framework, investing in our staff and embracing digital innovation. As our Director of City Infrastructure, you’ll join our extended Corporate Leadership Team to shape the future of our city.

You’ll lead a high-profile portfolio spanning transport, highways, regulatory services and major projects, working with partners in the city and across the region, politicians and communities to deliver infrastructure that supports a thriving and sustainable Brighton & Hove for all.
